It Is Finished

Today is Holy Saturday. When Jesus was in Hell paying the price for our sins and kicking some serious Lucifer A.$.$. The Bible doesn't talk much about it, but I like to picture Lucifer's face when he goes from thinking he finally won, to the realization that Jesus has won all along. For us. Man, I can't wait to get to heaven. The first thing I do is going to be to run up to Jesus, sit at his feet next to a big lion friend, and say, "Jesus, tell me about that time you were in Hell kicking butt for me and the rest of your kids."

But that's me ;)

I may have gone a liiiiiittle camera crazy....but hey, that's what happens when you put on an outfit that makes you feel like a babe, right? ;) I've been doing a bit better lately, which probably has a little to do with the fact that I FINALLY settled on a new [used] car and I'm just waiting to get the financing and annoying details sorted out and I should have it before or by my birthday next week. Sweet timing, I know haha. God is good and has definitely orchestrated this entire thing, I have no doubt about it. ANYWHORE, I'm shamelessly obsessed with my leather shorts and suspenders. A few things that I will be on the lookout for though, are sandals, sunnies and denim shorts for the summer. I should probably look into some new creepers too. As you can kinda see, my left one has been duct taped together because my ex boyfriend's adorable dog decided they were just too perfect NOT to chew on....yeah I know.

I would love to win a trip to L.A. just because I love all things SoCal and the one short trip I made to the west coast wasn't enough to satisfy me but it was just enough to make me fall in love. I had so many possible festival outfits... it was almost impossible to decide on ONE, but I did and I am happy with it. I love this dress and I had fun making my head piece. I've been wanting to make one of those for a long long time haha

Watch Out For Me, Baby, I'm Hell on Heels

They're crappy quality, ipod photos, but it still captured Dakoda and I in our pretty much natural state. Punks at heart, always. I made his jacket for Christmas last year and the vest I made myself too. I bought him his very own pair of two toned plaid bondage pants, straight from London, for his birthday. I've never seen him so happy and genuinely appreciative of anything before [in terms of gifts haha]. He's never owned his own pair before, he always wore his older brother's stuff for the longest time. I've wanted to get these for him for years but I was never able to until now, so it was a glorious day ;) [his birthday isn't until March 13th but who doesn't love early presents??]

This hat was cool for about two minutes until I realized it was a pain in the butt floppy hat with absolutely no form or logic to it. So I'll be getting a new one very soon. This one is like 3 years old anyway...

Anyway this top makes me feel like a bat. Or a dark angel. Either way, it's easily one of my favorite tops.

I'm so ready for spring and summer though. Sun dresses, tank tops and sunnies. Yes please!

My boyfriend walked off a job site today because his mom's fiance [who is his boss] was talking all kinds of crap about me and after he was told to stop, he kept going. So instead of beating his face in like he said he wanted to, my boyfriend walked off, threw his gloves in the trash and kept walking. This dude doesn't know squat about me yet for some reason felt the need to agitate Dakoda about me being a b*th and a "blow mouth" whatever that is... Not sure where he got the information to make such judgements, but since he doesn't mean much at all to me, his opinions are invalid so they don't hurt me. But this outfit, I realise, is sort of my way of expressing my attitude towards the whole matter....so take what you want from it. I really don't give a d*mn.

Snow Goes

Went with friends to get my girl, Julie's ears pierced today. Did a little shopping and bought a whole new outfit for $15. Now I'm getting snowed in with everyone, playing Mario Party and making garlic toast. I guess there are parts of winter I don't hate as much....

Air Has No Feeling

Went grocery shopping with mom and bought us both lunch. It is incredibly, obnoxiously cold and windy outside today. I was determined to wear something other than pants today though...
