This is my contest entry for Forever 21's Festival Foto Contest. I would love to win a trip to L.A. just because I love all things SoCal and the one short trip I made to the west coast wasn't enough to satisfy me but it was just enough to make me fall in love. BUT even if I don't win, I love any excuse to dress up and take photos nowadays. :) I don't know if there will be a voting period or not but if there is, I'll be sure to let you know so you can help me out ;) haha until then, why not enter your own awesome self?

I had so many possible festival outfits... it was almost impossible to decide on ONE, but I did and I am happy with it. I love this dress and I had fun making my head piece. I've been wanting to make one of those for a long long time haha

Yes, I am newly single. Yes, it was my decision. No, it wasn't what I wanted. Yes, it was unexpected but it was also necessary. Yes, it is a very tough time in my life right now. No, I am in no way interested in anything with anyone else at this time. All I can say is it is out of my hands now and I have to take one day at a time.

It's All Just Stupid Anyway

I'll be making more of the shirt I'm wearing in the near future. I've been wearing this hoodie non stop since I bought it two weeks ago. It's so warm and soft. I can rarely afford Pac Sun sweatshirts but when I can, I always prefer them. My boots are dark blue velvet and I love them so much it's borderline insanity.

I've been dealing with some personal issues which is my main excuse for the lack of "DAILY" outfit posts lately. No one actually follows me or participates or supports this anyway so I guess it doesn't really matter. I don't have the time to invest in advertising or networking for this thing, so it's going to have to grow slowly on it's own. That's fine. I'm not looking to be the next rookie or anything, anyway.

This hat was cool for about two minutes until I realized it was a pain in the butt floppy hat with absolutely no form or logic to it. So I'll be getting a new one very soon. This one is like 3 years old anyway...

Anyway this top makes me feel like a bat. Or a dark angel. Either way, it's easily one of my favorite tops.

I'm so ready for spring and summer though. Sun dresses, tank tops and sunnies. Yes please!

Make You Fall

I am well aware it has been like 3 weeks since I've posted a look. I can honestly say I have had absolutely no time whatsoever to capture photos, resize them and post on here, lookbook and chictopia. I'm actually planning to spend one of my two days off [finally] entirely on putting on the outfits I've worn this past week or so and taking photos and just posting them once a day for awhile. We'll see if it actually happens or not haha

Anyway, I've been hooked on Marina and the Diamonds [who isn't] and I'm looking forward to snagging the upcoming BRMC album. Oh, and I spent a total of $40 on a hoodie, jeans, two tanks, a top and leggings Thursday. I'm fairly certain that grants me Bargain Huntress Level 100 status....not to brag or anything ;)

So what's up with you these days?
